Cooped up in the confines of his bedroom-cum-studio until the early hours of the morning, this first release from then Brussels-based singer-songwriter Max Fotheringham was conceived.
A solo project, recorded using a single microphone, In All Amber is a five song EP that explores restlessness, journeying through the various stages of insomnia and offering introspective notions and matter-of-fact declarations of the unresolved.
Predominantly acoustic, with sparing effects and curious ventures into more ambient places, this falsetto-driven debut EP presents a small portfolio of an artist's textural exploration and range. Written and recorded by Max Fotheringham and engineered by Wouter Gordts at the one and only Higher Living Studio.

In All Amber by Max Fotheringham
This is a pretty solid album. Fans of Iron and Wine and or The Postal Service may like it. I give Max Fotheringham four stars for the song writing on In All Amber and the quality of how the production sounds is really great.
